Within the fiercely competitive arena of gaming, it's common for fresh competitors to vanish as swiftly as they explode onto the scene.

However the latest Battlefield is striving to shift that dynamic.

This is the newest release in a long-running military shooter franchise commonly positioned as a grittier answer to Call of Duty.

The title has seldom managed to rival its top competitor in terms of sales or user base, but there are signs the new installment could close the gap.

An early access session allowing gamers a shot to try out the title not long ago achieved milestones, and the hype approaching its debut has been immense.

But the project is still a major venture for company the gaming giant, which has according to sources allocated huge sums of funds making it.

Development Crew and Studio Collaboration

Four development houses are working on the project under the unified development banner.

Learning From Past Shortcomings

"We most likely would find it impossible to make and develop this new game lacking the learnings we had in the previous title," she explains to the press.

One of those takeaways was to engage players involved early, and the team started invite-only community testing sessions earlier this year.

"Collaborating with diverse backgrounds, different heritages, it's a truly engaging atmosphere to be part of every day," he shares.

"The complete strategy has been an innovation but something really exciting because we are collaborating with individuals from around the globe."

Concerning the pressure on the crew, the director says: "We experience demand but also it's exciting.

"We're dealing with a big venture. It's probably the most significant that many of us have before worked on."

New Developer Brings Fresh View

That's absolutely correct of a minimum of one team member, VFX specialist Vlad.

The 21-year-old produces the lighting elements that define the tone, style, and focus of the solo experience.

He completed an training period at Criterion preceding securing a role there, and now works with reduced hours while concluding his visual effects studies at Bournemouth University.

He explains he's a dedicated supporter of the games, and recalls enjoying the previous game of the franchise at a pal's home when he was a child.

To be on it now, as his first industry job, "seems unreal real."

"It's very crazy witnessing the advertising in many places," he comments.

"To know that I have contributed my personal touch into the title is truly surreal."

Launch Forecasts and Future Plans

Battlefield 6's launch is projected to be a big one, with observers predicting it could distribute as many as five million {copies|units|versions
