Nearly Ninety Air Travels Connected to Jeffrey Epstein Allegedly Came to or from UK Airfields
Analysis has found that nearly 90 flights associated to Jeffrey Epstein are said to have landed at and took off from British airfields, with some allegedly transporting women from the UK who assert they were exploited by the found guilty child sex offender.
Flight Logs Uncover Trail of Travel
The flight logs were part of a trove of court documents and papers made public by the estate of Jeffrey Epstein that have been disclosed over the last year. The review uncovered 87 aircraft movements linked to Epstein â including many that were previously unknown â arriving or departing from British airfields between the early 1990s and 2018.
Passenger Details and After Guilty Verdict Travel
Unnamed âfemalesâ were recorded among the passengers flying to and from the UK. Crucially, 15 of these British airport journeys occurred after Epsteinâs 2008 conviction for soliciting sex from a underage person.
âThis is âastonishingâ that there had never been a âfull-scale UK investigationâ into his dealings in the country,â stated US lawyers acting for numerous Epstein survivors.
British Victims and Court Cases
Testimony from one of the UK-based survivors aided the conviction of Epsteinâs associate socialite Ghislaine Maxwell of sex trafficking of minors in the US in 2021. However, that survivor has not received any contact by British law enforcement, according to her Florida-based lawyer.
In a response, the Metropolitan police indicated they had ânot received any additional evidence that would support reopening the inquiry.â They added, âShould new and relevant evidence be presented to us, including any resulting from the disclosure of material in the US, we will assess it.â
Continuing Disclosure and Judicial Decisions
Proposed legislation to disclose all files held by the US government in regarding Epstein was approved by the US Congress last month. The US justice department has until 19 December to adhere to this requirement. Hundreds of thousands of files are expected to be made public.
Additionally, a federal judge ordered last week that the DOJ could make public case files from a sex-trafficking case against Maxwell, Epsteinâs close friend, who is serving a 20-year jail term over the allegations.
