The Ideal Pocket Monster Tales: Z-A Mega Evolution According to Your Zodiac Sign
This comeback of Super Forms in Pokémon Legends: Z-A has sparked immense enthusiasm across the community. Starting with the gradual unveiling of fresh additions ahead of the title's launch, to trainers forming firm views on the entire roster of Mega Evolutions, there's plenty for fans to look forward to.
With numerous of the Mega Evolutions showcasing distinctive appearances that highlight their traits, one thought came to mind: What's the best way to connect this with astrology? The following is inspired by a blend of vibes, common zodiac traits, and personal experience.
The Ram – Super Camerupt
Honestly, Houndour's evolution was nearly chosen for Aries, as both are the Super Form and zodiac symbol that evoke the most fear. However, a Mega Houndoom appears as always furious, which isn't typical of the Aries vibe, known for being fun, light-hearted, and spontaneous. That's why the Ram far more similar to Super Camerupt, which solely spews lava when provoked. Remain on the good side of either and enjoy a strong ally; should you offend them, be ready to face the consequences.
The Bull – Mega Heracross
Much like a devoted Bull, the steadfast Heracross species, both in its regular and Super Form, has assisted many players in Legends: Z-A. Though dependable, both the creature and a Taurus are also battle-oriented, and – be it their companion or a firm belief – will stand up for their side unwaveringly. The thing about Super Heracross that recalls most of my Bull-sign companions, though, is its unabashed love of treats. Many previous Pokédex entries mention their craving for sweet tree sap and how it uses its appendage to collect it all, which is true Bull-sign vibe.
Gemini – Mega Medicham
Look at this absolute queen. It's impossible to tell me this creature is not the soul of any gathering, offering an endless stream of gossip to those who wants to hear. Much like an enrapturing, gregarious Gemini, it's incredibly simple to imagine Super Medicham mesmerizing an entire open area with their tales. This Pokémon's official description also mentions its capacity to foresee an enemy’s next moves, which seems very like a socially-savvy Twins.
The Crab – Mega Manectric
The Crab is widely regarded as the most sensitive sign of the zodiac, a intense sign known for frequently becoming wrapped up in their feelings. Per the official info, Mega Evolution charges the Pokémon with a “tremendous amount of energy, but it's too much for Manectric to fully manage,” which seems a lot like a typical Crab emotional outburst. It is also recognized for its capability to create a thundercloud over its very head – and if there’s a single trait a Crab is likely to do, it’s spoil their own parade.
The Lion – Super Starmie
Oh, did you think I was planning to select Pyroar for the king of the zodiac? Aside from the reality that it would be far too on the nose, Leo is clearly Super Starmie, the star whose gams just went viral for being too fabulous (or terrifying, depending on your taste). Players were captivated from the purple starfish, and that’s exactly the identical energy a Leo brings to the table. This Pokémon is also said to be broadcasting signals from its red core out into space, and it’s just like a Lion to be staging a show, even if for aliens.
Virgo – Super Victreebel
The always-ready and constantly-worried Maiden is perfectly encapsulated in Mega Victreebel, the Super Form with perpetual acid reflux. The zodiac symbol famous for being endearingly critical is strongly reflected throughout this creature's whole lineage, from a perpetually shocked face like a Maiden when you tell them you don’t have a 401(k), to its inverted face that’s similar to the symbol a Maiden sends to the group chat when all says they want to “go with the flow” rather than creating a strategy.
Libra – Mega Audino
Look at this sweet, sensitive creature, who uses the feelers on its ears to tell how people are feeling by their pulse. Always compassionate – sometimes to a fault – and striving to maintain the peace, there are numerous Scales who would probably appreciate Mega Audino’s abilities. Though, let’s be honest, it would probably just cause them to stress even more about everyone else.
Scorpio – Mega Banette
Banette is a creature with a unexpectedly tragic backstory: Abandoned as a toy, it became consciousness through sheer hatred and swore revenge on its former owner. According to the official info, Super Evolution, “increases its spitefulness.” That sounds exactly like many discussions I’ve had with my intense Scorpion acquaintances. A Scorpio adores karma and retribution, making them the perfect match with Super Banette.
The Archer – Mega Hawlucha
Both Mega Hawlucha and Sagittarians are constantly putting on a show. Being a Sagittarius personally, the amount of times I’ve called myself some variation of a “silly small entertainer” is innumerable. The most flamboyant and most attention-seeking Mega Evolution, its description even mentions how it “flexes to show off its power.” I would do the exact same thing if I had a Super Form, making Mega Hawlucha the most apt Archer match I can imagine.
The Goat – Mega Absol
Did you know that a Super Absol has the power to predict disasters ahead of time? That gives the exact same vibe as a Goat, who often always believe they’re right. The thing is, similar to a visionary Mega Absol, they often are. It’s also the very initial Mega Evolution that trainers encounter in Legends: Z-A – just like a Goat to join the beginning of the Super Form craze.
Aquarius – Mega Chandelure
Detached element Water Bearer is arguably the non-flame sign that is closest to a fire sign – its sister sign is the Lion, and there are numerous memes about Sagittarius and Water Bearer being unpredictable partners in crime. Super Chandelure's double Spirit/Flame typing fits perfectly with this, and the Mega’s general daunting presence is also extremely Aquarius. If you weren’t already persuaded, the Super Form's Pokédex entry says it “absorbs negative energy and converts it into power.” If that doesn’t exactly {encaps
